We are trying to determine how best to distribute sun-loving and shade-loving plants in our backyard. Rather than guessing, I did a "sun study": using my digital camera, I took a series of time lapse photos at half-hour intervals. After transferring them to the computer, I used Photoshop Elements to create an animated GIF.
