Today they installed our marble floor.
The crew also installed cementboard, for the shower stall. This is the stuff that goes over the greenboard, which I mentioned back on /Day16.
We received a few small (but critical) parts, such as door knobs, a toilet paper holder, and towel bars.
A brand-new old fashioned door knob, to go with our brand-new old fashioned doors.
Outside, the crew installed the exterior window trim. As it turns out, I had failed to consider that the window trim on the south side of the house might differ from the window trim in the courtyard. M pointed this out, and the crew accomodated me by ripping the planks to the correct size. That was good of them. M also had them purchase the correct type of wood for the exterior sill, which I had been uncertain about when we purchased wood the previous day /Day19.1.
