This morning, I took pictures of the exterior, from the courtyard. When we first bought this house, I had very vivid dreams about exploding sewer lines and walls spontaneously falling away. These pictures remind me of those dreams.

When we got home tonight, we found that the crew had started framing the walls. We think the screwed up the placement of the doorways; the left door should have been shifted right several inches, to accomodate the trim, and the right door should be shifted left by quite a bit.

There is a lot of damage to the plaster and lathe. I wonder how (if?!) they are going to patch this?
