Errica's Cake Recipes
Errica made these for their Holiday Party 2007. So good! (And easy, too)
Kahlua Cake
- 1 Devil's food cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 16 oz sour cream
- ½ cup Kahlua
- ¼ cup corn or safflower oil (just not olive!)
- 12 oz chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients and beat at medium speed for 3-5 minutes. Bake in a well greased bundt pan at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Let cake cool in the pan for at lease 45 minutes. Run a knife around the cake and flip it out onto a plate to finish cooling. It looks pretty with powdered sugar sprinkled over the top but doesn't need any frosting.
Lemon Variation
- 1 Vanilla cake mix

- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 16 oz sour cream
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup oil
- 12 oz vanilla chips
